Air to go? A new measuring method using sampling canisters for ethylene oxide (Focus on IFA´s work Nr. 0452)

There are hazardous substances that cannot be optimally adsorbed and stably stored using the active sampling techniques commonly used in occupational health and safety (e.g. via activated charcoal tubes). These substances include ethylene oxide and 1,3-butadiene. This Sheet 452 of the series “Focus on IFA‘s work” describes a project in which valid measurement methods were developed for these two substances, which are produced and used on an industrial scale.
